Privacy Policy
This policy covers UNMANNED Station Reader, a private internal tool used by the operator of the UNMANNED channel to read that channel's own performance data.
The short version. Station Reader reads the numbers on accounts we own. It does not read anyone else's account, it has no users other than the channel's own operator, it stores what it reads on one private machine, and it shares that data with nobody.
Who this covers
Station Reader is not a public product. There is no sign-up, no user account, and no way for a
third party to connect their TikTok account to it. The only account it is authorised against is
@unmanned260, which we own and operate. If you are reading this because you are
reviewing the application, that is the entire user base.
What it accesses
Station Reader requests four TikTok scopes and uses each of them for one purpose:
user.info.basic- Open ID, display name and avatar — to confirm the access token is bound to the correct channel before reading anything.
user.info.profile- Username and profile link — to label our own records so the two stations are not confused with each other.
user.info.stats- Follower count, following count, total likes and video count — the growth curve the channel is measured against.
video.list- Our own videos and their public counts: views, likes, comments, shares, plus title, description, duration and creation time — used to decide what to make next.
It requests no permission to post, delete, message, or read comments, and it makes no write calls of any kind. It is a read-only tool.
What it does not access
- Any account other than the ones listed on this site.
- Private messages, drafts, contacts, or the phone or address book of any device.
- Personal information about viewers, commenters, or followers. Aggregate counts only — we never retrieve individual identities.
- Location, payment information, or advertising identifiers.
Where the data goes
Onto one private computer, and nowhere else. Results are written to local files used to produce the channel's internal decision log. Access tokens are stored outside every code repository and are never committed to version control, published, or transmitted anywhere except to TikTok's own API endpoints over HTTPS.
There is no server, no hosted database, and no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data-broker integration. The data is not sold, rented, licensed, traded, or disclosed to any third party. No automated decision-making is performed about any person.
How long it is kept
Performance figures are kept as an ongoing time series for as long as the channel runs, because the point of the project is comparing this month against last month. Access and refresh tokens are kept only while the tool is in use and are destroyed when access is revoked.
Revoking access
Access can be withdrawn at any time from inside TikTok — Profile → Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions — with no notice to us. Doing so immediately and permanently stops all further reading. To request deletion of what has already been collected, write to the address below and it will be erased.
This website
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no trackers, and collects nothing about visitors. It is static files.
Children
Station Reader is not directed at children and processes no data about them. It reads one business-operated channel's own metrics.
Changes
If what the tool accesses changes, this page changes with it and the effective date at the top is updated. Material changes to what is collected will be reflected here before the new access is used.
